I took my driver's exam about a year ago in the Eagan, Minnesota exam station and I failed the first time. I'm taking it again in about a week (I shouldn't have waited to so long) and a friend of mine mentioned something: She said since I already did the 90 degree backup, parallel parking and the park on a hill, I won't have to do it again taking it my second time. Is this true?

I'm just curious. Making Of A Murderer S01e07. She failed her first time and didn't have to do it again the second time and I was wondering if it was true. Also, I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for me to pass.

Sorry to sound desperate, but my permit expires the day after I take it and I'd rather not take my permit test over again. Thanks and any answers to help my questions would be appreciated!

Best Answer: I know that this is a difficult experience, but the best advice anyone can give you is to chill. It's not the end of the world if you fail, but your goal is to achieve. Practice like crazy with everything from parking to whatever else you aren't 100% comfortable with. Get as comfortable as you can so when the driving instructor tells you to do something, it'll feel like second nature. Make sure to remember that this person is just another person in the world.

They are not some kind of god or anything. Don't make it out to be something more than it is. You'll be fine.

Believe in yourself and good luck!! What your friend said doesn't sound like it should, or would be true. You have to demonstrate your practical knowledge each time as far as I know.

Do you have any follow up to share on what happened, by any chance (you might not even see my answer). - always check your mirrors every 5-10 seconds and if you don't check them when you're turning, you might fail for your lack of observation. - listen to everything the instructor tells you to do.
